The tokenized stocks, issued on the Arbitrum blockchain, provide 24/5 trading access with no commissions or added spreads. Investors can also earn dividends, although voting rights are not included, as the equity is held by Robinhood on behalf of users.
In addition to tokenized stocks, Robinhood has expanded its crypto offerings in both the EU and the U.S., rolling out crypto staking and perpetual futures for eligible EU traders. This marks a significant push into decentralized finance (DeFi) and aims to make private equity more accessible.
